I don’t understand Circuit City and their online store.

I don’t understand why the math doesn’t work here.  A $229 device gains $25 when added to the shopping cart?

And then they say I will get a “free $25 gift card” if I buy this item.  But look – they actually charge me $25 for the gift card?!

Very odd.
