FOX [commercials] in High-Def

I’ve never been a big fan of the Fox Network.  They just never offered anything that really appealed to me.

Recently the Fox HD channel was added to my High-Definition package though – so I’ve been watching more Fox than ever.  And I haven’t really enjoyed it.  I watched a show called “Bones”, which was interesting, but not broadcast in High-Def.  The commercials were though.

I wonder why a network would go to the trouble and expense of adding an HD channel and not broadcast their Prime Time shows in High-Def?  Are the advertiser’s driving this (I hope so – someone needs to drive High-Def since the FCC doesn’t seem to be!).

But I want more than just commercials in High-Def.  On a High-Def channel I want EVERYTHING in High-Def.

  1. House is great. So is Prison Break and 24. Fox has a lot of good shows.

  2. I love House. I have never watched it on TV, rather on DVD. Hugh Laurie is brilliant in the lead role.

  3. @Chris – after reading this description on Fox, I think you might be right. I’ll look for it (and watch some of the clips on the web site).

“HOUSE, an innovative take on the medical drama, solves mysteries where the villain is a medical malady and the hero is an irreverent, controversial doctor who trusts no one, least of all his patients.”

  4. I think you should watch House. I think you would like it.
