I’m back, but where did I go?

I lost ownership of my domain name, lagesse.org for several weeks.  I won’t go into the ugly details, but I could certainly have prevented this.  Now I have the domain locked, set to auto-renew, and the email address I have the domain registered under is NOT an email address hosted on the lagesse.org domain.

It took a LOT longer to get my domain back because of (I assume) the Holidays.

What really sucked is my entire family has email on the lagesse.org domain – so I wasn’t the only one affected.  Bummer, family – and sorry about that!

So, the blog is back, the email is back, and I won’t make that mistake again 🙂

And that is all (for now) 🙂

Thanks,

Rob

  1. So since I’ve changed my link to here to what it became, will I soon have to change it back to what it was and now is?

How existential are we sounding today? 😀

The podcast from Jan 11 is within nanoparsecs of being ready to upload. Had it not been for my budget & budget hardware, that it. It had been within nanometers of being ready. Now today is Wednesday so I KNOW you’re consumed with being Customer Development Specialist (and I’m consumed with trying to keep the water company from stealing my front yard).

Nevertheless, if and when you see this, could you please:
    1) Answer the first question (second question is optional)
    2) DM me?

Hope you’re having a great day and you’re welcome to give my regards to Will (also optional). 🙂

  2. Dunno what happened. Pardon the repost, if that’s what shows up below.

  3. @Kami – I have the annoying habit of letting full-time employment consume me – to me, full-time it 100-120 hours a week 🙂

Yes, I ignored a lot of personal stuff. My car and motorcycle registrations were also both expired 🙂

But, having been through what it took to get this domain back – I’ll spend more time on it again 🙂

  4. What has full time employment done to you? Never in a thousand years did I imagine YOU would lose a domain name, any domain name. Okay, I am off to chuckle, but glad you got it back.
