New Offering – Web site pre-reviews

I am pleased to announce that I am now offering a new service – pre-viewing web sites for usability, user-friendliness and basic functionality.

This isn’t a field I had considered entering until some friends, and a couple of strangers, suggested it to me.  And one of them offered to pay me to do it.

Basically, it’s as simple as this – me, and a selection of my partners, will visit and critique your web site/service/API, to include terms of use, privacy policy, ease of use, ease of adoption, user-friendliness, etc either before you launch publicly, or after you are open kimono.

The goal here is to save you some public attention and trust by finding those, “Oh, we didn’t think of that because we are too close to what we are building to think like a customer” items that every new site has, to some extent or another.

Depending on the complexity of your site, and the level of detail/investigation you want us to do, this can be extremely affordable – starting at just $350 for a fairly complete review of Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Usability, platform usability (Safari, IE6 and 7, Firefox 2, Flock 0.7, Opera and, if required,  mobile browser functionality), flow, ease of use, ease of adoption, etc.

I don’t expect to do a lot of volume in this area, but I do expect to be thorough when the opportunity arises.
