Someone just asked me. Well - because now is a good time. I just sold/disposed of my interests in two of the startups I have been involved in for the last 18 months. That leaves one I am still involved in - and will stay involved - I believe in it too much to divest myself. For ~6 years I have worked out of my house, which has been very cool. As a single parent I loved being here for my kids - and they needed me here. But now they are 19 and 17. They need me to leave them the hell alone :) So I have more freedom now. More options; more opportunities. So I am looking. Because now is no better or worse time than yesterday, or tomorrow. I have two companies in mind that I really want to work for. I am hoping they want me. If not, I continue consulting and am very happy with that. I make a very honest living. Why now? Someone just asked me. Well – because now is a good time.
