It is the week of the American Thanksgiving (which is supposed to be about celebrating what we have, the friends we keep, and the family we are blessed with. Instead it’s a gluttonous beginning to our frenzied Christmas shopping season – the favorite time of the year of retailers everywhere).
Anyway, I didn’t expect to post much this week, and recent personal events have assured that. I’ll be back posting sometime this weekend, but I don’t expect to be doing much over the next few days.
Don’t forget what Thanks – Giving is all about – and be thankful for what you have. I guarantee someone else has less, and that they have had a more trying day than any of us.
So we all have something to be truly thankful for.
I’m thankful for an understanding friend, for loving children and their health. And yes – I am thankful for my dog, who really is a very good friend.
Until the weekend – be safe, have fun, and if you love someone, let them know.
