Seth’s Blog: Trusted Ears

I’ve read Seth Godin’s blog for quite some time.  I never felt an urge to join his conversation before today though.  But guess what?  He doesn’t have one.  I mean, he really doesn’t have a conversation.  He doesn’t even have comments – just trackbacks.

Sorry Seth – if you are too important /busy to enter a conversation with me, then your blog isn’t important enough for me to keep reading.  I can find good talkers on street corners.  I can even find good listeners on street corners (hey, if you pay them, they don’t care HOW you spend your hour).  But Web 2.0 is about conversation, not preaching.

Click.  Unsubscribed.  I just can’t believe it took me this long to realize it was a one way discussion.  Those suck.

Trusted Ears Do you ever ask for advice? Do you try out your new ideas on people before they are seen by the public? Probably.
