Under the knife (not me)

My friend Bob (who a few of my readers know) is going to have major back/neck surgery tomorrow.  He just found out on Monday afternoon.  It’s his fourth back surgery, I think.  He is 45.  That’s what 26 years on Active Duty in the US Army can do for you.  He is a veteran of the first Iraqi war, a Respiratory Therapist, a Physician’s Assistant, and a College Professor.

He’s also a 90% disabled American Veteran, and a friend of going on 30 years.

He actually introduced me to my ex-wife, and in spite of that him and I are still best friends.

Here’s hoping for the expected outcome!

  1. Bob’s fine – just talked to him. Groggy as heck, but may even be released tomorrow 🙂
