Why I love what I do

It’s 1 am my time. I just finished a 3 hour call with a client friend.  We talked about a lot of things – and we invented something – through our back and forth exchanging of ideas and our common curiosity.  It’s a cool idea – one neither of us has seen before.  And we’ll implement it.  Soon.

I love what I do because I get to talk to interesting people, in interesting places.  I love what I do because I rarely talk to stupid people (I’m not that hungry yet).  I talk to bright people, and they make me feel brighter.  Smart people bring out the best in me because they force me to think.

Anyway, it’s very late (or early, if you are a farmer).  I am tired.  Happy tired.

It’s Thanksgiving week here in the USA.  I probably won’t post much.  I have some real work to do and I have an old blogging friend I never met coming into town to join me for Thanksgiving.  Life’s good, even if it isn’t easy ๐Ÿ™‚

And there are a gazillion American Football games on this week – and I plan on watching as many of them as I can!
